What this service is

Spielplatzkompass is an independent directory of public playgrounds in Germany. You can find playgrounds by place, postcode and equipment, and keep a personal list of saved playgrounds. The service is informational. It has no connection with the towns, municipalities or operators of the playgrounds listed.

No statement about condition or suitability

The directory does not replace your duty of supervision or your own judgement on site. We make no statement about the condition, maintenance or suitability of a playground or its equipment for any particular age. Look for yourself on site before you let children play.

No guarantee of accuracy or completeness

Entries come from open data, as described in the privacy policy. They can be out of date, incomplete or wrong, and some details are missing. The directory does not contain every playground. We show no live opening status. The service is provided “as is” and “as available”.

Third-party data and images

Names and trademarks belong to their owners. Where the information comes from, and under which licences, is explained in the privacy policy. Images on the site are illustrative images and do not show the playground named.

Acceptable use

• Do not break the law, attack or overload the site, or probe it for weaknesses.
• Do not scrape the site at a rate that harms it.
• Do not send false reports, other people’s personal information or abusive content.
• Do not try to access another person’s account or data.

Accounts

You may create an account with a confirmed email address or Google sign-in. Keep your password secret and tell us if you think someone else used your account. Account data is handled as described in the privacy policy.

Ending your use

You can stop at any time and delete your account under Account with “Delete account”. We may suspend an account or restrict access if these terms are broken or to protect the site or other people, and we may change or stop any part of the service.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for losses that come from relying on the information here, for example because of a closed or rebuilt playground, different equipment or travel costs, or from the site being unavailable. Liability for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and in every case where the law requires liability, is not affected.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they were last updated. If you keep using the site after a change, the updated terms apply.
